Apples Currently Available
Fresh-picked and ready for you to enjoy!
U-Pick Apples: Starting Sept 6th | Sat & Sun 10am-6pm
First Kiss
University of Minnesota variety (MN55) - a cross of Honeycrisp and MonArk. This extremely crisp apple kicks off our season with lightly tart, aromatic flavor and explosive juiciness. The delicate flesh is too tender for baking but perfect for fresh eating.
Zestar!
University of Minnesota variety (Minnewashta) with distinctive sweet-tart flavor featuring brown sugar and spice undertones. Unlike other early apples, maintains exceptional crispness and juiciness. Excellent for sauces requiring less added sugar.
Chestnut Crabapple
University of Minnesota variety (1946) with rich, complex nutty flavor and no tartness - unusual for crabapples. Large for a crabapple at 2-inch diameter, with sweet complexity including hints of pear, honey, orange, and vanilla.

About Brand Farms
A family tradition since 1957
Our Story
Brand Farms is a family dairy farm originally purchased in 1957 by German immigrants, Anton and Marie Brand, and has been passed down through four generations.
Aaron Brand is the fourth generation who farms with his father, John. His grandfather, Richard, was born in 1932 and still has a daily presence on the farm. The Brand Farms name is now well known in the community for farm fresh eggs and as a U-pick Apple Orchard.

What Our Visitors Say
Real experiences from farm friends
Our second visit to the Brand Family Farm was just as amazing as the first! We had an absolute blast playing in the corn, climbing the hay tower, and taking a relaxing hayride through the farm. The kids loved seeing the chickens, bouncing on the giant pumpkin, and we captured some incredible family photos that mom will treasure forever.
We came a few weeks early from being fully open but the owner was so friendly! He stopped what he was doing to talk and give me the address to his stand and sunflower field. What a great guy and thank you. Each spot was amazing! I can't wait to come back when fully open to see everything at the farm.
Among other variety of apples, I was happy to find the Zestar again. Just perfect for my preference of slightly tart, but with good sweetness. We also got honey and fresh eggs there. The staff is very helpful and informative.
